Reference Case In 2001, Combil successfully delivered a custom-tailored Invoice Printing Center for Flagship CCB to TAL Ltd. in Iceland. With an extensive background in various telecommunications related application development, including billing module add-ons, Combil was able to architect and design a solution for TAL's specific invoicing needs. As a result, TAL was able to increase efficiency and marketing capabilities by allowing TAL to make customized changes to invoice formats without costly change requests to the initial CCB software vendor. Furthermore, TAL was able to generate different invoice styles, based on specific clients and client groups. TAL Ltd. is a leading provider of GSM mobile telephony and Internet access in Iceland. TAL was awarded Iceland's first competitive mobile license for a GSM digital network in July 1997. One year later, on May 5th 1998, the TAL network was officially launched, ending Iceland Telecom's monopoly over the mobile sphere. Originally called The Icelandic Mobile Phone Company, the firm renamed TAL, means "Talk" in Icelandic, prior to commercial launch.
